Our Story
From the moment we met in 2007, we both felt a powerful connection. We made each other laugh (a lot) and everyday experiences felt like new adventures. We connected over our shared values: enthusiasm for life, a desire to serve others through our work, and dreams of having a family.
Our bond grew over the years and our relationship became stronger than we could have ever imagined. We got married in 2017 - a symbol of our commitment and an exciting step toward building a future together.
Jesus was born and raised in Mexico until the age of 12 when his family immigrated to the United States and settled in Wisconsin, where Chris was born and raised.
We met in college and dated for a year before moving to Florida in 2008 where we started our careers. During this time, we raised three dogs who became the center of our world and brought us so much joy. Longing for new opportunities, we relocated to New York City in 2019. Through this move, Jesus began a new journey in the world of fashion and Chris continued working in the technology industry.
Our relationship is resilient. It’s based on love, affection, and mutual respect.
We communicate openly, find humor in life, and respond to each other’s needs. When one of us is stressed out, the other looks for ways to ease his mind. And when one of us excels, the other is the first to celebrate.
We’re the dream team.

“Chris is unapologetically authentic and unconditionally loyal in everything he does. Whether at work, with his friends and family, or even at the gym, Chris will always be true to himself and follow his intuition. He is decisive, strong-willed, and optimistic. I’ve always admired how he achieves anything he sets his mind to. He’s my cheerleader and pushes me every single day to be better and stronger. Chris is the type of person who will stand up for his loved ones through any situation. He prefers a night-in watching old episodes of housewives, but will never turn down an opportunity to be around the company of those he loves.
He’s the most trustworthy person I have ever met and gains the respect of everyone he interacts with. I know that he will be the most incredible example to our child. He will teach them to love unconditionally, work hard, dream, and never let doubt get in their way of reaching their full potential. I cannot wait to see him be a father!”

Chris describes Jesús…
“Jesus is single handedly the most caring person I know. He always puts me first and is the type of person to give you the shirt off his back if you’re in need. He is hospitable through and through and puts everyone’s comfort or enjoyment before his own. Jesus is very creative and hard working, but always makes time for fun and adventure. His best trait as a partner, friend, and soon-to-be dad is his supportive demeanor. He shows up for everyone he loves with endless support and encourages their success! He has an attention to detail that is unrivaled. Jesus takes after his mom and makes the most delicious home cooked Mexican food. I’m excited for him to teach our child Spanish and share his family traditions. I know Jesus is going to make a great father!”
Our Home
We don’t take for granted for a second that we live in the city that never sleeps - New York City! We enjoy all that the city has to offer. The neighborhood we live in provides us with everyday access to great schools, playgrounds, endless bagels and cream cheese, the best pizza in the world, museums, live theater, and the most gorgeous park for biking, jogging, playing sports, and family picnics… all within a couple city blocks from our apartment.
Bentley spends much of his time asleep on the couch since he knows his nap time will be limited after welcoming a baby.
